A1 Sports Courts is a family business which operates from the historic town of Gembrook east of Melbourne in the Dandenong Ranges.
Greg Anderson is the managing director of the company. He has 19 years’ experience in the sports court industry and has constructed facilities in many parts of the world. He has worked as a technical expert in the development and commission of various sports court surfaces for the commercial market. He has both trained agents and installed these surfaces all over the world.
Mission Statement
- Our core business is the construction of Sports facilities for the commercial and private market.
Our aim is to provide quality sporting facilities on time and budget. We do this by:
• Aligning ourselves with recognised quality assured suppliers
• We have key staff with the essential experience
• We own and operate specialist machinery required to construct sports facilities
• We recognise the importance to utilise local qualified trades and services
Our commitment to the environment does not begin and end at our environmental policy
• A1 Sports Courts conducts its business from a 50 hectare bush property, offsetting any carbon emissions from our plant and machinery.
• The office is run entirely on solar power and is not grid connected
• We use only the most energy efficient appliances and stationary
Directors Statement
A1 has grown into a well-respected sports contracting company. A 'smaller supplier’ of goods and services than perhaps others, I think it offers greater value for money and quality of workmanship. The pride I have along with the team speaks volumes. Our portfolio has covered contracts over $850,000. We have worked for many councils in Victoria including, but not limited to the Pyrenees Shire, Ballarat City, Frankston City and many more.
